Evesham Police K-9 helps arrest Philadelphia man for distribution of Oxycodone

The following report is on file with the Evesham Township Police Department:

On Aug. 19, at 10:30 p.m., an officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on Greentree Road. During the investigation Evesham Police K-9 EZ was called upon to assist officers with the detection of narcotics.

K-9 EZ was walked around the exterior of the suspect’s vehicle at which time he alerted officers to the presence of narcotics inside the car.

A subsequent search of the vehicle by officers resulted in the discovery 69 Oxycodone Pills and marijuana.

Arrested:

A male, age 30, of Philadelphia, was charged with second-degree distribution of pharmaceutical pills and third degree possession of pharmaceutical pills. He was released on his own recognizance.

A male, age 22, of Philadelphia, was charged with a disorderly persons offense for possession of marijuana. He was released on his own recognizance.
