Construction to begin on two Cherry Hill Township roads this week

Road work is scheduled to begin on Queen Anne Road and Tampa Avenue. The work is part of Cherry Hill Township’s road maintenance program.

Cherry Hill Township is expected to begin work on two streets this week as part of the township’s annual Road Maintenance Program.

Cherry Hill Township announced work is scheduled to begin this week on Queen Anne Road from Country Club Drive to the terminus and on Tampa Avenue from Jackson Road to Valley Run Drive. The project will include a mill and overlay of the road surface and removal and replacement of sidewalks in isolated spots where there is a trip hazard.

Work is also continuing on eight other streets this week, including King George Road, Preston Road, Surrey Road, Oak Road, Evergreen Avenue, St. James Place, Hialeah Drive and Belmont Avenue.

More than 55 local streets will have work done this year as part of the township’s road maintenance program. All work is weather permitting. For more information, contact the township department of engineering at (856) 424–3203.
