Moorestown Police Reports for May 24 to June 7

The following reports are on file with the Moorestown Police Department:

On May 24, a 27-year-old female of Cherry Hill was arrested and charged with shoplifting. She took women’s clothing valued at $310 from Macy’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall, concealed merchandise in her purse and did not pay. She was released on a summons.

On May 27, a 46-year-old male of Philadelphia was arrested and charged with shoplifting. He took men’s clothing valued at $292.92 from Marshalls Department Store on Route 38, placed merchandise in a shopping cart and exited the store. He was committed to the Burlington County Jail on $2,500 bail.

On May 28, a man was arrested and charged with harassment and criminal mischief. He harassed the victim and then caused damage to the Police Department while being processed. He was released on $1,000 bail released on recognizance (ROR).

On June 4, a 33-year-old male of Moorestown was arrested and charged with theft. The man removed two new Tempstar air conditioning units from a property being remodeled. The units are valued between $3,000 to $4,000. He was released on a summons.

On June 4, a victim reported her Apple IPhone 6 was taken from an open exterior purse pocket while at the Express Store in the Moorestown Mall. The phone is valued at $800.

On June 6, a victim reported a black dump utility trailer stolen from a job site on Borton Landing Road sometime between June 2 and June 3. The trailer is valued between $6,000 to $7,000.

On June 7, a victim reported a Redmax backpack valued at $600 was taken from a landscape trailer on May 26 while parked on Doral Court.
