MasterRecorders ensemble comes to Haddonfield May 14

A concert by the MasterRecorders ensemble will be held following a 6:30 p.m. potluck supper at Haddonfield United Methodist Church, 29 Warwick Rd., on Saturday, May 14. The group of recorder musicians, led by Becky Field, is new at the church. A recorder looks like a clarinet but sounds like a flute. The ensemble will play a variety of popular, classical, Broadway, and sacred tunes. This event is open to the public, but those wishing to attend should contact Barbara at (856) 404–4721 or [email protected] to sign up so enough place settings are provided. Attendees are asked to bring a dish to share plus $7 to help cover expenses. The supper and concert will be held in the church’s downstairs social hall. Parking is at the rear of the church.
