The following reports are on file with the Mt. Laurel Police Department:
At 11:07 p.m. on April 21, Mt. Laurel Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Fellowship Road near Route 73. During the stop officers arrested a male, age 48, of Voorhees. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a court hearing.
At 10:17 p.m. on April 20, Mt. Laurel Police located a suspicious occupied vehicle in Spencer Park, Ramblewood Parkway. During the investigation officers arrested a male, age 26, of Mt. Laurel. He was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and released pending a court hearing.
At 8:23 p.m. on April 20, Mt. Laurel Police responded to the report of an unresponsive person in a vehicle in the parking lot of 200 Larchmont Boulevard. The arriving officer quickly determined that the 23-year-old male from Mount Holly had overdosed on heroin. The officer administered Narcan and revived the victim. He was transported to the hospital by Mt. Laurel EMS for further treatment.
At 12:30 a.m. on April 20, Mt. Laurel Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 73 near I295. During the stop officers arrested a female, age 23, of Clifton Heights, Pa. after she provided a false name to officers to avoid a traffic summons. She was charged with hindering her own apprehension and released pending a court hearing.
At 9:15 p.m. on April 19, Mt. Laurel Police responded to a hotel on Fellowship Road for a disorderly person. During the investigation officers arrested a female, age 36, of Medford, for an outstanding warrant. The female resisted officers as they took her into custody. She was charged with resisting arrest and released after satisfying the warrant.
At 4:44 p.m. on April 19, Mt. Laurel Police responded to the Shoprite on Nixon Drive. During the investigation officers arrested a male, age 40, of Moorestown. He was charged with shoplifting and released pending a court hearing.
At 1:07 p.m. on April 19, Mt. Laurel Police responded to a motor vehicle crash on Ramblewood Parkway near Route 73. During the investigation officers arrested a male, age 44, of Mt. Laurel. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a court hearing.
At midnight on April 19, Mt. laurel Police responded to a burglary at the Sunoco service station, 3240 Route 38. An employee witnessed a suspect enter the garage area and steal money. The investigation identified a suspect and officers arrested a male, age 29, of Mt. Laurel. He was charged with burglary and theft. Bail was set at $10,000 with no 10 percent option and he was committed to the Burlington County Jail.
At 9:27 p.m. on April 17, Mt. Laurel Police responded to an activated burglar alarm at a residence on the unit block of Village Lane. The investigation revealed that someone broke a sliding glass door and entered the residence. It could not be determined if anything was stolen.
Mt. Laurel Police responded to a residential burglary on the 200 block of Tam O’Shanter Road report on April 17. The investigation revealed that someone entered the residence by removing a screen from an unlocked window sometime between April 15 and April 17. The residence was ransacked however; it did not appear anything was taken.
At 7:16 p.m. on April 17, Mt. Laurel Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Ark Road near Route 38. During the stop officers arrested a male, age 36, of Hainesport. He was arrested for an outstanding warrant and found in possession of marijuana. He was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and released pending a court hearing after satisfying the warrant.
At 7 a.m. on April 17, an employee who works at a business at 127 Ark Road reported someone had slashed the tire on his bicycle. The victim parked his bicycle in front of the business while he worked the overnight shift and found the damage in the morning.
At 12:45 p.m. on April 17 a subject used a counterfeit $20 bill to make a purchase at the Burger King on Route 38. The crime is still under investigation.
At 3:07 a.m. on April 16, Mt. Laurel Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 38 near Hartford Road. During the stop officers arrested a male, age 25, of Hainesport. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a court hearing.
At 10:53 p.m. on April 15, a Mt. Laurel Police Officer located a suspicious person while he was on foot patrol at a hotel on Route 73. During the investigation a female, age 38, of Evesham, was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine, possession of a hypodermic syringe and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released pending a court hearing.
At 10:25 a.m. on April 14, Mt. Laurel Police responded to Wegman’s on Centerton Road for a shoplifting in progress. On arrival officers located the suspect exiting the store. When officers ordered him to stop he fled back into the store. After a short foot chase officers arrested a male, age 32, of Warrington, Pa. He was charged with resisting arrest and shoplifting. Bail was set at $4,250 no 10 percent option, and he was committed to the Burlington County Jail.
At 7:51 a.m. on April 14, Mt. Laurel Police responded to Clover Florist on South Church Street for the report of a burglary and theft. The investigation revealed someone broke into the business and stole a safe and a spool of copper wire between 9:30 p.m. on April 13 and 7 a.m. on April 14.
At 1:09 a.m. on April 14, Mt. Laurel Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 73 near I295. During the stop officers arrested a male, age 42, of Pennsauken. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a court hearing.
A victim reported that her wallet was stolen from her purse while she dined at Panera Bread on Centerton Road between 9:45 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on April 13. One of the victim’s credit cards was then fraudulently used at a nearby store. The victim reported that she had hung her purse on her chair while she was at the restaurant.
A resident on the first block of Patricia Lane reported that someone stole several lawn ornaments from her property sometime between April 11 and April 12.
At 4:22 p.m. on April 10, Mt. Laurel Police responded to DSW Shoes for a shoplifting in progress. The suspects attempted to flee the area however their vehicle became disabled in the parking lot of the shopping center. Officers arrested a female, age 44, of Eastampton and a female, age 26, of Williamstown. The Eastampton female was charged with shoplifting and released pending a court hearing. The Williamstown female was charged with shoplifting and turned over to Moorestown Police for an outstanding criminal warrant.
On April 9 at 4:45 p.m., Mt. Laurel Police responded to the Grey Hound bus terminal for the report of a stolen vehicle. The victim reported that his 1999 Honda Civic was stolen from the parking lot sometime between April 8 and April 9.
At 8:38 p.m. on April 8, Mt. Laurel Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 73 near Fellowship Road. During the stop officers arrested a female, age 35, of Frederica, Del. after she provided a false name in an attempt to avoid being arrested for several outstanding warrants. She was charged with hindering her own apprehension with bail set at $5,000 no 10 percent option. She was committed to the Burlington County Jail.
At 4:10 p.m. on April 8, a victim reported her vehicle was intentionally scratched in the parking lot of 1420 Nixon Drive. The victim stated that she was in a minor verbal dispute with another motorist over parking. The victim parked her car and went into the store. She found the damage when she returned to her vehicle.
