Rowan College of Burlington County recently held their final business plan presentation “pitches” for their RCBC Startup Stars Business Plan Competition at the Enterprise Center Auditorium in Mt. Laurel.

RCBC selected six high school finalists from over 100 entries. Three of these finalists were from Cherokee High School in Marlton. The three finalists are entrepreneurship students of business teacher Shellie Hughes.

The students who pitched their business ideas to a panel of judges were sophomore CJ Lee, senior Jabriel Crawford-Bell and senior Tara Rasmussen.

The pitch consisted of a four-minute presentation followed by a four-minute question and answer session with the panel of judges.

Crawford-Bell won the Grand Prize of $750 and a one-year membership to the Burlington County Chamber of Commerce for the pitch of The College App.
