Obit: Marion H. Zetts

Marion H. Zetts, of Medford Lakes, went home to be with the Lord on Feb. 25. She was 92 years of age.

Born in Newark, she has resided in Medford Lakes since 1955. A former Teacher’s Assistant for The Githen’s Center in Mt. Holly, she was a Girl Scout Leader for many years and was a member of the Medford Lakes Garden Club, the Daughters of St. Theresa of St. Mary of the Lakes Church and a St. Vincent DePaul volunteer.

She is the wife of the late Paul P. Zetts Sr. and the loving mother of Mary Ann Ka’ahanui of Woodbridge, VA, Paul Zetts Jr. and his wife Judy of Medford Lakes, Kathi Croes and her husband Reynaldo of Hamilton, NJ and Sharon DeToro and her husband Jerry of Howell, NJ. She is also survived by her son-in-law Terry Cantrell, her grandchildren Ana Ka’ahanui, Michael Ka’ahanui, Melissa Newstat, Bryan Jacobs, Sean Cantrell, Megan Cantrell, Kevin Cantrell, Mary Brynn DeToro, Daniel DeToro and Emily Croes and her 4 great grandchildren Gregory and Erin Newstat and Kainoa and Nakoalani Ka’ahanui. She is the mother of the late Barbara Ann Cantrell.

In honor of Marion, relatives and friends attended her viewing on Feb. 28 and on Monday, Feb. 29 at the Bradley & Stow Funeral Home.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Feb. 29 at St. Mary of the Lakes Church. Interment was private. Contributions may be made to to St. Vincent DePaul, P.O. Box 1131, Medford, NJ 08055.
