Letter to the Editor: Proud to support Vandegrift for fire commissioner

I write this letter in support of my dear friend, Vaughn Vandegrift, for Voorhees Fire Commissioner.

Vaughn is a third generation and lifelong resident of Voorhees. He has dedicated his life to the Voorhees Fire District. He is a current Voorhees Fire Commissioner, serving the last three years. He is a Life Member and Past President of the Kirkwood Fire Company. He is a member of the Camden County Fire Chief’s & Fire Officer’s Association and a member of the Camden County Firemen’s Association.

In addition to his lifelong devotion to the Voorhees Fire District, Vaughn has volunteered his time to our local government as a current member of the Voorhees Township Planning Board, past member of the Voorhees Township Zoning Board of Adjustment and past member of the Eastern High School Board of Education. Vaughn also takes the time to Chair the Voorhees Township Memorial Day parade.

Vaughn certainly gets involved and gives back to Voorhees Township. Most importantly, Vaughn does all of this for the right reasons. He believes his experience in the Voorhees Fire District is invaluable as a Fire Commissioner and believes every resident deserves first class fire and rescue services.

I am proud to support Vaughn Vandegrift for Voorhees Fire Commissioner.
