An investigation began on Feb. 1 at 10 a.m. when an Evesham Police Officer patrolling inside the DDACTS Zone observed construction truck being operated in a reckless manner on Route 73.
The driver refused to stop for the officer, rather continued to driver recklessly while disobeying the officers signal to pull over. Due to inherent risk of the pursuit endangered public safety the officer quickly terminated the pursuit of the truck.
The investigation of the pursuit led to the identification of the driver, a male age 41 of Sewell. He was charged with third degree eluding and numerous motor vehicle violations.
