The following incidents were reported by Mt. Laurel Police:
On Dec. 14 at 2:10 a.m. Mt. Laurel Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Church Road near Oregon Avenue. During the stop officers arrested a female, age 26, of Berlin. She provided a false name to officers in an attempt to avoid being arrested for several outstanding warrants. After she was arrested she was found in possession of crack cocaine and smoking pipes. She was charged with hindering her own apprehension, possession of crack cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $5,000 with no 10 percent option and she was committed to the Burlington County Jail.
An employee of Bed Bath and Beyond on Centerton Road reported that on Dec. 13 at 1:30 p.m. a man and woman exited the store each stealing a Dyson vacuum cleaner. The total amount of the theft exceeded $1000.
On Dec. 13 at 12:27 p.m. Mt. Laurel Police responded to the Home Depot on Nixon Drive for a shoplifting complaint. Officers arrested a male, age 30, of Medford. He was charged with shoplifting $181 worth of merchandise and he also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. Bail was set at $2,500 and he was committed to the Burlington County Jail.
On Dec. 12 at 1:50 a.m. Mt. Laurel Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 38 near Fostertown Road. During the stop officers arrested a male, age 34, of Philadelphia. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a court hearing.
On Dec 11 at 10:20 a.m. Mt. Laurel Police responded to the Ulta Beauty store on Nixon Drive for a shoplifting report. An employee reported two women filled a bag with over $1000 worth of merchandise and left the store. Officers located the pair after they fled the store and arrested a female, age 38, of Camden, and a female, age 29 of Camden. Both were charged with shoplifting and released pending a court hearing.
A Victim reported a credit card was stolen from him while he was shopping at a store in Moorestown on Dec. 10. The card was then used to make a $560 purchase at the Target on Centerton Road at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 10.
