Rotary Club Thanksgiving Breakfast

Sponsored by the Medford-Vincentown Rotary Club, the annual community Thanksgiving breakfast, held at Medford Lakes Country Club, featured representatives from different churches in the community including this year’s key note speaker Rev. Fr. Dan Swift from St. Mary of the Lakes Church. Dave Stow, Co-Chairman of the event said, “This year especially we need to acknowledge our Blessings and remember to be grateful for all that we have.”

The Honor Guard from the Seneca High School JROTC presented the colors to begin the morning, which included solo’s by Micaela Hickey of Shawnee High School and Emily Chant of Seneca High School and a Thanksgiving poem by Kayla Johnson of Seneca High School.

“We wanted to keep our community breakfast local”, said Fr. Don Muller, Co-Chair, “There are so many talented speakers right here in our own community”.

Other Pastors that participated included Pastor Harry Thomas of Come Alive Church, Pastor Erik Jarvis of Fellowship Alliance Chapel Pastor Richard Van Heukelum of Shawnee Baptist Church, Pastor Joe Monohan of Medford United Methodist Church and Pastor Susan Jones of Lord of Life Lutheran Church rounded out the program.

The Medford-Vincentown Rotary Club continues to serve the communities we live in and wishes a Blessed Thanksgiving to all. For more information visit us at www.MVRotaryclub.org .
