Letter to the Editor: Michelle Nocito knows what the people of Voorhees want
I would like to share the most important reason why I would vote for Michelle Nocito and that is community.
The definition of community is a group of people living in the same place or having a particular characteristic in common. A feeling of fellowship with others, a result of sharing common attitudes, interests and goals.
I met Michelle three years ago at our elementary school.
We very quickly became friends and Hamilton PFA co-president partners.
I learned very quickly that Michelle had passion about any and all activities that she signed up for.
Over the years, I came to learn that Michelle had a special quality that I particularly love and that is bringing people together. Whether she is at school, the soccer field, Connelly Park or a town event she is always rallying people together like a team. I love that about her.
Michelle is a hard working mother, a dedicated wife, a businesswoman, a soccer coach, a soccer mom, a PFA president and more! She gets it.
Michelle understands what the people of Voorhees want. She also wants to give them what they deserve which are excellent schools, stable taxes, a clean town and a wonderful community!
Lastly on a personal level, in the past three years she has taught me that I can achieve anything that I set my mind to.
She has coached me as a new runner over the past year where I went from running zero miles to thirteen.
For a non-athletic person like me it wasn’t easy.
She always says to me “you can do anything that you set your mind to.”
She believed in me many times when I didn’t believe in myself.
One time when I could barely finish a race, she took my arm and said “I will get you across that finish line and you will finish strong.”
I did.
She is a true leader.
I encourage you to vote for her and her wonderful running mate Jason Ravitz on Nov. 3.
You will not be disappointed.
What you see is what you get and trust me you haven’t seen anything yet.
