Sean Fischel Connect held it’s first Sponsor Reception at the Aloft Hotel on Oct. 1. Past and present sponsors for the 2015 Sean Fischel Connect 5k and 1 mile fun run, plus family and friends, were brought together for a wonderful night to celebrate the achievements of the organization. Three speakers — Dr. Ed Behrens of CHOP, Theresa Miller of Moorestown Parks and Rec and Jen Dunne of the Moorestown Library shared how Sean Fischel Connect has positively impacted both the community of Moorestown and the research for HLH. SFC has donated over $100,000 to local community programs and directly to Dr. Behrens for Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) research, all due to selfless volunteers and generous sponsors. It was an emotional and enlightened night of community connections!
