Freeholder Director Mary Ann O’Brien announced that as part of the Freeholder’s innovative new Workforce Development Initiative, the county will be hosting a Fall Job Fair on Friday, Oct. 16.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Burlington Center Mall on Route 541 in Burlington Township.
“The County’s Workforce Development Board is partnering with Rowan College at Burlington County to actively match jobseekers with local employers looking to sustain and expand their business here in Burlington County,” O’Brien said.
With over 1,000 job seekers with broad qualifications anticipated to attend this year’s job fair, this proves to be an ideal opportunity for businesses to fill job vacancies and meet a talented pool of potential employees; in addition to providing valuable exposure for their company.
“This event is designed to allow jobseekers to have personal contact with prospective employers who seek to fill positions ranging from entry-level to management,” O’Brien said. “Participating businesses will represent New Jersey’s top growing industries: health care, hospitality, retail, finance, skilled trades, transportation, technology and more,” .
Employers looking to reserve space should call (856) 222–9311 at extension 2547.
