Marlton Tavern burglarized, Evesham Police arrest suspects within 24 hours

The following comes from Evesham Police Lt. Joseph Friel:

On Sept. 10, officers responded to a reported overnight commercial burglary at the Marlton Tavern, 65 Main Street. Investigation determined that unknown suspects had forced entry into the business and stole the cash register.

Investigators tracked down two suspects to a house in Hammonton, where they were arrested and brought back to the Evesham Police Department for questioning and processing procedures.

Arrested:

A female, age 22, of Hammonton was charged with third degree burglary and theft. She was lodged in the Burlington County Jail in default of $20,000 bail.

A male, age 28, of Burlington was charged with third degree burglary and theft. He was released on his own recognizance.
