This information was provided by the Moorestown Township Public Schools Board of Education president Kathy Goldenberg:
On the Aug. 25 Board of Education meeting, the board appointed Business Administrator Lynn Shugars, as acting superintendent effective Sept. 1.
Shugars served the district in the same capacity from Sept. 1, 2013 through February 2014.
The Board also approved the appointment of John Fraser as the Superintendent Search Consultant to begin the search immediately for an interim superintendent.
John Fraser has previously been the personnel director for Moorestown Township Public Schools, and a previous Superintendent Search Consultant, and is extremely well versed in the many attributes of Moorestown Township Public Schools.
