Live Civilly asks food donations for local pantries from Moorestown Community

Each summer, local food pantries struggle to keep food on the shelves. There are local food pantries in Moorestown in need of donations because families everywhere struggle with food insecurity. These food pantries help local families who struggle with food insecurity during a time when programs that offer families assistance through the schools are not operational.

Live Civilly asks for the community’s help this summer. Please help support our local food pantries this summer by donating non-perishable food items at the following locations: Moorestown Library, Moorestown Town Hall and Monday nights at the Parks and Recreation Summer Concert Series on the lawn of the Moorestown Community House.

For more information about how to help our local food pantries, please visit www.livecivilly.org or email [email protected]. All collections are shared between the three local food pantries in Moorestown: Live Civilly/Moorestown Ministerium Food Pantry, First Baptist Church Food Pantry and the Bethel AME Food Pantry. Your generous donation can help local youth and families to overcome food insecurity.

Consider donating this summer — because hunger doesn’t take a summer vacation.
