On June 13 at 10:30 p.m., an officer patrolling inside inside the township’s Data-Driven Approaches to Crime and Traffic Safety (DDACTS) zone conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 73 for an equipment violation. During the stop the officer developed suspicion the vehicle contained illegal narcotics. A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery in a significant amount of marijuana that was packaged for distribution.
Arrested:
A male, age 23, of Cherry Hill, was charged with fourth degree possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and a disorderly persons offense for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on his own recognizance.
