Evesham Police K9 sniffs out illegal narcotics during suspicious vehicle investigation on May 18
On May 18 at 2:48 p.m., an officer patrolling inside the DDACTS Zone conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 73 after observing the occupants acting suspiciously. During the investigation Evesham Police K-9 Spike was called upon to assist officers with the detection of narcotics. K-9 Spike was walked around the exterior of the suspect’s vehicle at which time he alerted officers to the presence of narcotics inside the car. A subsequent search of the vehicle by officers resulted in the discovery of Crack Cocaine and Drug Paraphernalia.
A male, age 44, of Buena, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol and a disorderly persons offense for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Burlington County Jail on unrelated warrants.
A male, age 53, of Buena, was charged with third degree possession of crack cocaine and a disorderly persons offense for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Burlington County Jail on unrelated warrants.
