Emergency Services of Burlington County to conduct 25th annual Memorial Day service on May 20

Freeholder Director Mary Ann O’Brien announced that Emergency Services of Burlington County will conduct its 25th Annual Memorial Service at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Burlington County Memorial Park located in-front of the County’s Public Safety Center at One Academy Drive in Westampton.

“The annual service is a tribute to police, fire and emergency medical personnel who have given their lives in the ‘Line of Duty,’ said Freeholder Director O’Brien. “During the service, all those whom we have lost will also be recognized.”

Cinnaminson Firefighter Lt. Christopher Hunter, who unfortunately passed away on November 15, 2014, was added to the memorial monument this past year; bringing the total number of names on the monument to 45.
The public is invited to attend. For further information, contact the County Fire Marshal’s Office at (609) 702–7158.
