Hindering in Medford

On April 18 at 12:08 a.m., Medford Police stopped a blue Ford pickup for maintenance of lamps at Sacagawea Trail and Hopewell Rd. The driver originally provided patrols with a fictitious name, date of birth and social security number. After further investigation, the driver was identified as Frank R. Schmidt Jr. Schmidt was found to have several outstanding traffic warrants totaling $1500 and a suspended driver’s license. The warrants were out of Haddon Township and Middle Township. Schmidt was transported to police headquarters and processed. Judge Lange set bail on the hindering (providing false information to police) at $2500. Schmidt posted bail on the warrants and was issued multiple motor vehicle summons. Schmidt was then released pending court.
