Evesham Police traffic stop leads to arrest of wanted Camden Woman

The following report is on file with the Evehsam Police Department:

EveshamPolice

On March 10, at 3:00 a.m., an Evesham Police Officer patrolling inside the Data Driven Approach to Crime and Traffic Safety Zone (DDACTS) conducted a motor vehicle stop after observing a vehicle with equipment violations.

During the stop the passenger was found to have 22 outstanding warrants for her arrest. While arresting the female officers discovered that she was in possession of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

A woman, age 44, of Camden was charged with third degree possession of crack cocaine and disorderly person offenses for possession of drug paraphernalia She was lodged in the Burlington County Jail in default of $10,550 bail.

DDACTS integrates location-based crime and traffic data to establish effective and efficient methods for deploying law enforcement and other resources.

Using geomapping to identify areas that have high incidences of crime and crashes, DDACTS uses traffic enforcement strategies that play a dual role in fighting crime and reducing crashes and traffic violations.

Drawing on the deterrent of highly visible traffic enforcement and the knowledge that crime often involves the use of motor vehicles, the goal of DDACTS is to reduce the incidence of crime, crashes, and traffic violations in Evesham Township.
