My name is Barbara Krippel and my husband Frank and I are leaving in a few weeks on a trip to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary on March 16. In todays standards, 30 years of a happy marriage are quite unique, but even more unique is that we have been together since I was 13-years-old! No breakups, engaged at 18 and I was 20 when we married.
Frank and I met when our parents had seasonal campsites at a campground in Jackson. A group of us had season passes to nearby Six Flags and while exiting the park, awaiting for parents to pick us up, he “asked me out.” I was from north Jersey and he was from south Jersey, so we only saw each other on weekends until he was old enough to drive to visit me. The long distance relationship continued until we married and settled into our first and current home here in Moorestown. We have raised our son and daughter here and couldn’t be happier with the life we have built together. It wasn’t always easy and without challenges, but we continued to laugh, tease, date and have fun together. What I would share most with young couples is always be sure to communicate, laugh, surprise each other and go on dates. We are never to old to be goofy!
Happy Valentine’s Day and Happy 30th Anniversary to my one true love!

We are Vivek and Smruti Sailam and this is our sweetheart story.
My wife and I met in 1990 at a Princeton review SAT class in Freehold.
Our first date was at sbarro restaurant in Times Square.
Our trips to Hawaii and Nice are the most romantic things we have done .
Our longevity, cohesiveness and love for our family make us standout; we also look essentially the same as we did in 1990.
Patience, compromise and respect are our advice.
We have been together for 25 years and married for 14. We have been to two proms together. We are true high school sweethearts.
