The Moorestown DeCafe is delighted to welcome the Perseverance Jazz Band on Feb. 20. Perseverance Jazz Band brings youthful exuberance to the traditional New Orleans jazz repertoire, featuring the vocals of Cecilia Ferneborg backed by a tight quintet of piano, clarinet, trumpet and drums led by bassist Jonathan Davenport. With music spanning freewheeling 30’s swing to soulful songs of old New Orleans, the band has drawn the praise of dancers and DJs in Europe, Asia and Australia as well as the United States. Join us for true New Orleans-style powerful yet sultry vocal tunes, swing, jazz and ragtime — all with engaging improvisation and instrumental flare.
DeCafe provides a warm coffeehouse environment for great music in an intimate setting surrounded by art. Perkins Center for the Arts is located at 395 Kings Highway.
