Exit 36A on I-295 will be temporarily closed Jan. 10

New Jersey Department of Transportation officials today announced the Exit 36A ramp on I-295 would be closed temporarily this Saturday in Mount Laurel, Burlington County.

From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Saturday, Jan. 10, Verizon is scheduled to close the Exit 36A ramp for utility pole wire work.

The following detour will be in place:

Motorists traveling on I-295 southbound attempting to use Exit 36A will be directed to use Exit 34A to I-295 northbound and Route 73 southbound.

Dynamic message signs will be used to notify motorists of the ramp closure and detour. The precise timing of the work is subject to change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are encouraged to check www.511nj.org for real-time travel information
