Lenape will not be able to add a state title to its South Jersey Group IV sectional title this season.
Lenape was defeated by Hunterdon Central 3–0 in the State Group IV semifinal on Wednesday, Nov. 19. The team was put in an early hole as Hunterdon Central’s Luciana Zullo scored two goals in the opening 13 minutes of the game. Lenape had seven shots but failed to get one by goalkeeper Bristol Pizzuto.
Lenape keeper, Alicia Hampton, had four saves in the loss.
