More than 50 Mt. Laurel Youth Football moms took part in the inaugural “Football Mom 101: Guide to The Gridiron,” on Oct. 24 hosted by Mt. Laurel Fleetwood Football.
The event, which was presented by AJM Insurance, took place at Hartford School. Topics included concussion prevention awareness, the importance of hydration and the fundamentals of the game. Other event partners included Virtua Sports Medicine and The Philadelphia Soul. “We are so pleased to be able to support a great organization like Mt. Laurel Fleetwood Football,” said Tony Mahon, president of AJM Insurance of Mt. Laurel. “It is so important for parents to be well informed and to have the latest data about concussion prevention and the fundamentals of football safety.”
