Two men arrested after vandalism reports at Medford Lanes

The following information was provided by the Medford Township Police Department.

On Sept. 21 at 1 p.m., Medford Township Police responded to 665 Stokes Road at Medford Lanes for a caller reporting that his vehicle was just vandalized. Upon arrival, contact was made with three males reporting damage to their vehicles, including a damaged hood scoop and rims.

While the victims were explaining the incident they stated that the suspects were in the black Ford pickup truck with a loud exhaust that just past northbound on Stokes Road. The vehicle was stopped on Dixontown Road near Timber Green Court and the driver was identified as a 24-year-old man from Medford.

Further investigation revealed that he and another suspect, a 22-year-old man from Southampton, had damaged the vehicles at Medford Lanes. The Southampton man was not with the Medford man at the time of the stop, but was subsequently located at 22 Dixontown Road. The Medford man was arrested at the scene for driving while intoxicated. As a result of the investigation, both men were charged with criminal mischief. Both were released pending a court date.
