Morgan Calabria, shown above in the far lane, won the 13/14 girls 50 meter backstroke at the Burlington County Championships on July 26. Her winning time was 33.23. Calabria, who will be a freshman at Seneca High School in the fall, swims for Deerbrook Swim Club in Medford. The win has particular significance because Calabria underwent reconstructive knee surgery last August and was unable to swim until February.
