Sports Paradise teams up with Goodwill for shoe fundraiser

Sports Paradise of Medford is pleased to announce our partnership with Goodwill of Southern New Jersey and Philadelphia during the month of August. Customers of Sports Paradise are encouraged to “Step it Up!” by donating their used athletic cleats and footwear to Sports Paradise from Aug. 4 through Aug. 30.

Customers will receive a discount coupon for every donated pair of footwear good towards new sneakers or cleats at Sports Paradise. The coupons will be good for $5 off a purchase of $30 or more of footwear or $10 off a purchase of $50 or more of footwear.

All of the footwear dropped off to Sports Paradise will be donated to Goodwill no matter the condition. According to Juli Lundberg of Goodwill , “No shoe will be wasted. All gently-used footwear will be donated to Goodwill, a local nonprofit agency that recycles and sells shoes to fund job training programs that prepare individuals with disabilities and disadvantages for competitive employment.”

“We are pleased to team up with Goodwill to help the community,” Jarred S. Treiber of Sports Paradise said. “Customers can feel good about their donation as it will all be put to good use while helping them save money for their back-to-school footwear shopping.”

Shoes can be donated at the Sports Paradise location on Stokes Road in Medford.
