Ellen Catherine Hassinger, 22, of Moorestown, passed away Tuesday, June 17. Ellen was the loving daughter of Catherine Hassinger of Moorestown and John Hassinger of Mystic, CT. She was the sister of Brian Andrew and the late Peter William. She was the granddaughter of Ted and Marie Bauer of Osprey, FL and the late Herman and Doris Hassinger of Block Island, RI. Ellen is survived by her beautiful daughter Natalia Rose. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Ellen attended Shortridge Academy in Milton, New Hampshire, and graduated from Moorestown High School. Ellen enjoyed swimming and was noted for her butterfly stroke. Ellen had many friends, always had a warm smile, a great sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh. She was known for her compassion to others.
A Memorial Mass in Ellen’s memory will be celebrated Saturday, June 28 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 42 W. Main Street, Moorestown.
