On Flag Day, Saturday, June 14, the residents of Spring Hills Cherry Hill Luxury Assisted Living will be celebrating Old Glory with a good, old-fashioned barbecue, complete with a barbershop quartet for entertainment. The barbecue, open to the public, will begin at 11 a.m. when Cherry Hill Boy Scouts Troop No. 170 will lead everyone in a flag raising ceremony. Then everyone will head over to the barbecue and be joined by The Sunshine Boys Barbershop Quartet.
Spring Hills Cherry Hill recently purchased a new American flag. Mike Lando, Executive Director, said, “I’m honored that the local Boy Scouts Troop can help us properly induct this flag into our home. The barbecue will be fun and we hope that people will join us for some hot dogs, watermelon and entertainment.”
