Marlton Planning Board member Jay Parikh was recently named the Planning Board chairman. He succeeds Patty Laverghetta who served on the planning board for 10 years and was the chairperson for four years.
Parikh was appointed to the planning board in 2008 and is heavily involved in the community, most especially as the Indian Cultural Center Public Relations chairperson.
“I’m looking forward to making Evesham the best place to work and raise your family,” Parikh said.
Parikh commends Mayor Randy Brown and Evesham Council for “bringing diverse views to help the township grow and make it more residential and business friendly.”
He looks forward to the future of Evesham Township.
The next planning board meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 6 at 7 p.m.
