The following information was provided by the Cherry Hill Police Department.

On Jan. 19 at approximately 4:09 p.m. the Cherry Hill Police responded to a report of a possible sexual assault of a minor.
The Cherry Hill Police Investigative Unit determined that a 14-year-old female had been communicating with a male online. This online relationship resulted in the two meeting in person. During this meeting a sexual relationship occurred involving the 14-year-old victim and the 21-year-old suspect.
At the conclusion of the investigation the suspect was arrested and charged with sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a minor. The suspect was later remanded to Camden County Jail in default of $100,000 bail.
