MLK Day observance Jan. 20 theme, “What is Your Dream?”

The borough’s Human Relations Commission will commemorate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 20. A brief candlelight ceremony will be held on the steps of Borough Hall at 7:00 p.m. The mayor and commissioners, boy scouts, and HRC members will participate, then lead a procession to the Mount Olivet Baptist Church at Lincoln and Douglass Avenues. The program at the church will include remarks, song selections from the HMHS choir, and a presentation of the HRC’s “What is your dream for Haddonfield?” program. Students from all schools will have their responses displayed.
