Mt. Laurel Police searching for bank robbery suspect

On Friday, Dec. 20 at 5:59 p.m. a suspect suspect entered the TD Bank located on Ark Road and Route 38 in Mt. Laurel. After entering the bank, the suspect comes to the teller and hands him a demand note that read; “I want $1,000, don’t look at me, I have a gun,” however there was no gun shown during the robbery. The teller gave the suspect $1,000 from the cash drawer. The suspect leaves the bank on foot in the direction of Ark Road. A witness explained to first arriving officers, she saw a male possibly matching that description run towards the Willow Turn section of town. Medford K-9 responded and conducted a track that ended near the 200 block of Willow Turn.

The suspect is described as a male, late 30’s to early 40’s, medium build. He was wearing blue jeans and dark colored jacket. He has black hair with distinguished white spots in the front and side of his head.
Anyone with information on the suspect’s identity is asked to contact Detective Mark Colligan at (856) 234–1414 ext. 1525.
