Crowds of shoppers lined the streets and filled the more than 200 shops in Downtown Haddonfield during Haddonfield’s Small Business Saturday weekend, Friday, Nov. 29 through Sunday, Dec. 1.
As part of its commitment to making holiday shopping in Haddonfield the best experience it can be, the downtown extended its 4th annual Small Business Saturday celebration and sales event to three days, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 29, 30 and Dec. 1; and had more shops than ever before come on board to offer great Small Business Saturday Weekend deals and offers.
“Small Business Saturday was a terrific success this year,” said Kathy Gold, chef and owner of In The Kitchen Cooking School in Haddonfield. “It was great to see the streets and shops crowded with shoppers supporting the local businesses.”
Haddonfield’s downtown is home to distinctive businesses and shops, offering something for everyone. From sophisticated apparel boutiques, art galleries and shoe stores to jewelers, hair stylists and bridal shops, Haddonfield has it all. Shopping downtown is a great way to spend a day, but the real Haddonfield experience takes place once you set foot inside one of its charming shops.
Settled into well-preserved Colonial buildings, Haddonfield’s shops offer beautifully displayed merchandise with a one-of-a-kind level of customer service. To help keep the shoppers coming and help fuel the economy, Downtown Haddonfield is offering town-wide gift certificates at a discounted rate of 10 percent through Saturday, Dec. 21.
Gift certificates can be purchased at the Haddonfield Information Center, located at 2 Kings Court or online at www.DowntownHaddonfield.com. They can be used at stores and restaurants throughout Haddonfield. Gift certificates will continue to be discounted through Saturday, Dec. 21.
The Information Center is open Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and every Friday during Candlelight Shopping until 9 p.m. (Dec. 6, Dec. 13 and Dec. 20).
