The Burlington County College (BCC) Foundation, and community leaders including Burlington County Freeholder Director Joe Donnelly and Evesham Mayor Randy Brown, will join with students and education supporters on Oct. 1 to celebrate philanthropy in Burlington County by raising more money for scholarships at the college.
The public is invited to the Fifth Annual Celebration of Philanthropy luncheon at noon, Tuesday, Oct. 1 at the Enterprise Center at BCC in Mount Laurel. Call (856) 222–9311, ext. 2450 to RSVP. A $100 donation benefitting students attending Burlington County College is suggested.
“Burlington County, the college and community members work together to provide access to quality education for all residents,” said Burlington County Freeholder Director Joe Donnelly, who will deliver opening remarks. “This is a terrific opportunity to help students achieve their educational and career goals while hearing directly from students who have benefited from the tremendous generosity that exists in Burlington County.”

Keynote speech by Evesham Mayor Randy Brown, who coaches for the reigning Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens.
Lunch served by BCC culinary arts students.
The celebration is an annual tradition to thank BCC Foundation donors. Tony Mahon, the BCC Foundation Board Vice Chairman, and John Hood, the board’s Scholarship Committee Chairman, expanded the program into a fundraiser.
“We are very grateful to those who support our students and thought it would be a powerful gesture to gather again and raise money for a great cause so many of us love to support,” BCC Foundation Board Vice Chairman Tony Mahon said. “Foundation Board members work tirelessly and they have been working overtime to make this event a success and help more students afford a quality college education.”
Last year, the Foundation provided more than 400 scholarships worth more than $325,000.
