Plethora of fall events planned

Leaves have yet to change color, but the frequent cooler temperatures signify summer is coming to a close and the fall season is ready to break through.

Most families are back from vacation, preparing children for the start of a new school year. But those hectic times of getting children adjusted to a schedule change call for a list of fall events for some “downtime.”
Haddonfield Plays and Players performances

Haddonfield Plays and Players has three scheduled performances in the fall.

From Sept. 19 to Oct. 5, it will perform Arthur Miller’s “A View from the Bridge.”

Show dates and times are Sept. 19, at 7:30 p.m.; Sept. 20, 21, 27, 28 and Oct. 4 and 5 at 8 p.m.; and Sept. 22 and 29 at 2 p.m.

Ticket prices are $15 with the exception of the Sept. 19 performance, which is $12 per person.

Transitioning from the fall season to the winter, “Avenue Q” will be performed from Oct. 24 to Nov. 16.
Show dates and times are on Oct. 24 at 7:30 p.m.; Oct. 25, 26, Nov. 1, 2, 8, 9, 15 and 16 at 8 p.m.; and Oct. 27, Nov. 3, and 10 at 2 p.m.

Ticket prices have yet to be listed for this performance.

Both performances will be held at Haddonfield Plays and Players, located at 957 E. Atlantic Ave. at Crows Woods.

To help celebrate Haddonfield’s 300th anniversary, the Haddonfield Plays and Players will perform a musical “The King’s Road,” by Haddonfield’s Harry Kaufmann Oct. 3 and 4 at 8 p.m. and Oct. 5 at 1 and 8 p.m. at The Haddon Fortnightly, located at 301 Kings Highway East.

Tickets are $10 per person.

The box office is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 6:30 to 8 p.m., and on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
