Students gather food for ‘Students Change Hunger’

Keira and Amber Malone gathered 867 pounds of food that were then donated to the South Jersey Food Bank for the “Students Change Hunger” program through Seneca High School.

This year they are running their sixth annual summer food drive and have raised nearly $300 and approximately 530 pounds so far. Murphy’s Markets in Tabernacle allowed them a weekend for a food drive table earlier in July. They will be working toward their goal of 1,200 pounds through the summer.

A donation bin has also been set up at Murphy’s in Tabernacle and at the corner of Lee Drive and Summit Drive in Tabernacle.
