The Soroptimist International of Burlington County (SIBC) presented their Myra Alcott Youth Citizenship Award to Lenape student, Kiersten Campbell, on July 17 at the Riverton Country Club.
The award was a $1,000 scholarship, which Kiersten will use toward tuition at Northeastern University where she will be studying chemical engineering.
The mission of the SIBC is to improve the lives of women and girls in local communities and around the world. They are responsible for many philanthropic endeavors including but not limited to the Women’s Opportunity Award, Treat Any Soldier, and National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, Inc.
