Flood warning issued by National Weather Service

The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for ourĀ area.

Heavy rain is expected as Tropical Storm Andrea moves up the coast through Saturday.

General rainfall of one and half to three inches is expected, while isolated amounts near five inches are possible. A flash flood watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding.

Those who live along the creek or in flood prone areas should prepare for possible flooding. Everyone should continue to monitor local forecasts.
