Burlington County Freeholders partner with Moorestown Mall For logo contest

Burlington County Freeholder Director Joe Donnelly announced today that the County would conclude its logo contest with an awards ceremony on Friday, June 7 at 6 p.m. The ceremony will be hosted at the Moorestown Mall and will feature a display of all of the logo submissions. All participants, families, and the members of the general public are encouraged to attend.

“The Moorestown Mall has generously agreed to sponsor the Logo Contest prizes as well as display all logo entries at their mall during the weekend of June 7,” Freeholder Director Joe Donnelly said.

The County received more than 150 entries from schools across Burlington County as well as some from home-schooled individuals. “Burlington County students are very talented. It was extremely difficult to pick the grand prize winner,” Donnelly said.

Students were asked to submit original designs for a new County logo that will build upon our new tag line: “South Jersey Starts Here.” The logos will be judged for originality, creativity, relevance to the County and connection with the tag line. One grand prize of $250 will go to the chosen logo and nine additional $25 prizes will go to finalists.

“Families can visit the Moorestown Mall to see their student’s design as well as all of the other entries,” Donnelly said. Winners will be announced at the ceremony at Moorestown Mall in the Macy’s Courtyard.

“I would like to thank the Moorestown Mall for supporting our contest and the students of Burlington County,” Donnelly said.
