Hope Church sponsoring blood drive

HOPE Church, located at 700 Cooper Road in Voorhees, is sponsoring a spring American Red Cross Blood Drive on Monday, March 11, at the church campus from 2 to 8 p.m.

According to statistics, every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood. More than 38,000 blood donations are needed every day and one out of every ten people admitted to a hospital will need blood. More than 1 million new people are diagnosed with cancer each year. Many of them will need blood, sometimes daily, during their chemotherapy treatment. A single car accident victim can require as many as 100 units of blood.

Donors are encouraged to call for an appointment time at, but walk-ins will also be welcomed.
