New Jersey American Water has scheduled emergency water main repairs at the intersection of Kresson and Springdale roads from 9 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, until approximately 7 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8.
Both roads are expected to remain open; however, lane shifts and new traffic patterns will be in effect. Significant traffic delays are expected, and drivers are asked to avoid the area for the duration of the project.
Additionally, beginning at about 9 p.m. Thursday, water service will be turned off for some residents adjacent to the work site. This will allow the utility company to reconnect the water main. Affected homeowners were notified by door hanger on Wednesday afternoon.
