Anada Medina, 36, and her 18-year-old daughter, Stephanie Garcia, both of Cherry Hill, were killed when a Dodge Durango collided head-on with their Honda Odyssey about 3:40 p.m. at Chapel Avenue’s intersection with Russell Avenue.

According to witness statements, the Dodge Durango, driven by a 31-year-old man, was traveling up to 100 mph in an area with a 25 mph posted speed limit.

The northbound Dodge crossed into an oncoming lane of traffic and collided with the Honda at the traffic circle at that intersection.

The driver of the Dodge and a female passenger are in critical condition at Cooper Hospital in Camden.

Investigators from the Merchantville Police Department and the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office are reviewing evidence to determine the appropriate charges.
