Check out a few holiday events around town

’Tis the season for holiday shopping. Between picking out gifts, decorating and planning family gatherings, the holidays move quickly. Check your calendar and plan accordingly because there are plenty of holiday events in Voorhees.

HOPE Church is hosting a series of events throughout December.

HOPE Church children’s choir will perform “A Rockin’ Royal Christmas” on Sunday, Dec. 2, at 6:30 p.m.

Another holiday performance will be held on Sunday, Dec. 9, at 4:30 p.m. “What is Christmas . . . Really?” is a combination of contemporary and traditional music performed by HOPE players, vocal ensembles, the worship band and dancers.

The Family Christmas Candlelight Services will be held on Sunday, Dec. 23, at 7 p.m. and again on Monday, Dec. 24, at 4 p.m.
