Kitchen Kapers plans musical celebration

Kitchen Kapers, one of the largest independent kitchenware retailers in the United States, is planning a musical celebration for its ribbon cutting ceremony at its newest location at Marlton Square located at 300 RouteĀ 73.

Planned for Tuesday, Oct. 23 at 2:30 p.m., the public is invited to join the festivities with Mayor Randy Brown, SJ Hot Chefs President Chef Fred Kellermann of Elements CafƩ of Haddon Heights, and 54 students from the J. Harold Van Zant Elementary School who formed the Pots and Pans Band in honor of the occasion.

Led by music teacher Cindy Wasdick, the students will bring their own pots and pans and use new 12-inch wooden spoons provided by Kitchen Kapers as they play ā€œStars and Stripes Forever,ā€ and other songs while wearing their white paper chefĀ hats.

ā€œWe are all excited to hear the music performed by the kids on their pots and pans, and we very much appreciate the time they have put into rehearsals for this very unique performance,ā€ said Rick Kratchman, Vice President of Kitchen Kapers who is thrilled for the studentsā€™ to perform at the ribbonĀ cutting.
