Long & Foster’s summer heating up

The record heat wave in the Delaware Valley feels like a cool breeze compared to the sales activity at Long & Foster’s Moorestown Sales office. According to Terry Spahr, regional manager of the New Jersey/Delaware Region, “Moorestown was number one in the region in sales volume and in units, a feat they have achieved almost every month this year. During June, their sales volume was up an incredible 101 percent versus June of 2011, and their units were up 97 percent. Year to date, their sales volume is up 38 percent and their units are up 61 percent.”

Added manager Denise Jasinski, “In addition, our average sale price increased again versus June of 2011. Every month our average sale prices have been increasing-a very positive sign if you are a homeowner thinking about selling.”

“This type of activity shows that our sales associates are proactive and positive in today’s housing market,” said Gary Scott, president of Long & Foster Real Estate, Inc. “For buyers and sellers looking to accomplish their homeownership goals, the Moorestown professionals are well-equipped to help consumers identify opportunities in today’s market.”
