Haddonfield Crew had five boats racing at the 5th Manny Flick invitational last week during a driving rain in Philadelphia. They competed in front of thousands of fans against over 540 boats from 80 teams coming from eight states! The day’s best performance came very late in the afternoon from Senior Captain Kent Horsely in his first race as a single. Kent came in third place in a very competitive field.
The Novice Girls 8+ boat of Danielle Coates, Kayli Marshall, Mari D’Anella Mercanti, Emily Stasi, Emily Deluzio, Veronica Fisher, Allison Sparrow, Elle Butler Basner, and Coxswain Taylor Buttaro also turned in a strong performance coming in sixth out of 23 boats.
